Ian S. Topf was admitted to the Missouri State Bar in 1996 and the California State Bar in 2000. That same year, he was also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for Southern California.
During law school, Ian dedicated his time to public service, volunteering at the Domestic Violence Clinic at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law and with Mid-Missouri Legal Services Corporation, where he provided legal representation to underprivileged clients in civil litigation and domestic relations cases.
In 2000, Ian began his legal career in San Diego, working as Contact Counsel for the San Diego District Attorney’s Office, focusing on child support matters. He later transitioned to a general practice law firm, where he represented clients in family law, bankruptcy, general civil litigation, and criminal defense.
With deep-rooted professional relationships within the San Diego legal system, Ian brings a strategic advantage to his clients. Unlike attorneys who hesitate to take cases to trial, Ian is prepared to fight in court when necessary to protect his clients’ best interests.
